The past year has been a very busy one for the individual members of Porcupine Tree. Mastermind Steven Wilson continues to garner rave reviews for his solo album "Grace For Drowning". He's also on tour with the band No-Man. Richard Barbieri has released an album with Marillion's Steve Hogarth, while Gavin Harrison has continued his successful collaboration with 05Ric. "Octane Twisted" is a live recording of a 2010 concert at Chicago's Riviera Theater from the "The Incident" tour, featuring a total of 23 songs. Despite all this activity, fans have been clamoring for the release of a new Porcupine Tree album, and the wait is finally coming to an end. The double live CD "Octane Twisted", recorded during the tour for "The Incident" in Chicago, is the only album Porcupine Tree released in 2012. "The Incident" reached number 17 on the Media Control chart and marked the band's breakthrough in Germany. "Octane Twisted" perfectly captures the magic of a Porcupine Tree concert.
