Love, loss, madness, ethics, chaos, your most secret dreams and your worst nightmares: all brought together by Type O Negative's formula, created by self-taught emotion chemistry professor Peter Steele (vocals, bass). Recorded and produced by Steele and Josh Silver (keyboards), the sound of darkness is prophetic, rock-hard and screamingly real as never before.

"The Great Monk" Grigory Rasputin graces the cover of Type O Negative's new album, a dark, mysterious and fascinatingly compelling figure from Russian history. So dangerous and inconvenient that the Russian nobility tried unsuccessfully to remove him several times because of his influence on the last generation of the Tsarist family. This mysterious and sinister figure is the embodied equivalent of the unique Type O Negative sound.

Rasputin once prophesied, "When the bells ring three times, they will announce that I have been killed...". Pray, Russian Czar. Pray."
