Industrial Supergroup Side Project

1000 Homo DJs was a side project started by Al Jourgensen of the industrial metal band Ministry. The group is best known for its cover of Black Sabbath's "Supernaut," which was released in 1990. The project featured various collaborators from the industrial music scene, including Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, who provided vocals for the original recording of "Supernaut" but due to label issues, his vocals were re-recorded by Jourgensen for the commercial release. 1000 Homo DJs released a few tracks and remixes but did not produce a full-length album. Their work is characterized by a heavy industrial sound and is considered influential in the genre. The project was active mainly during the late 1980s and early 1990s, and while it was short-lived, it remains a notable footnote in the history of industrial music due to its association with prominent artists of the era.
