Alien Ant Farm is an American rock band that formed in Riverside, California, in 1996. The group gained mainstream recognition in the early 2000s with their cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal," which was a hit single from their second studio album, "ANThology," released in 2001. The success of "Smooth Criminal" helped propel the album to platinum status and established the band as a notable act in the nu metal and alternative rock scenes of the time. Alien Ant Farm's lineup has included vocalist Dryden Mitchell, guitarist Terry Corso, bassist Tye Zamora, and drummer Mike Cosgrove. Over the years, they have experienced several lineup changes and hiatuses. Despite this, the band has continued to produce music and tour, releasing additional albums including "TruANT" (2003), "Up in the Attic" (2006), and "Always And Forever" (2015).
