Burial is an elusive figure in the electronic music scene, known for his distinctive style that blends elements of dubstep, UK garage, and ambient music. His real name is William Emmanuel Bevan, and he hails from South London. Burial first came to prominence with his eponymous debut album released in 2006, which was followed by the critically acclaimed 'Untrue' in 2007. This sophomore effort solidified his reputation and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. His work is characterized by its atmospheric soundscapes, use of crackling vinyl sounds, and manipulated vocal samples.
