British Progressive Rock Band

Caravan is a British progressive rock band formed in Canterbury, England, in 1968. Part of the Canterbury scene, which also included bands like Soft Machine, Caravan was known for its distinctive blend of rock, jazz, and classical influences with whimsical lyrics and complex compositions. The original lineup consisted of Pye Hastings (guitar, vocals), Richard Sinclair (bass, vocals), Dave Sinclair (keyboards), and Richard Coughlan (drums). They gained critical acclaim with their second album "If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You" and reached a creative peak with their 1971 release "In the Land of Grey and Pink," which is often considered a classic of the progressive rock genre.
