Carolyn Crawford

Carolyn Crawford is an American soul singer who began her career in the 1960s after winning a singing competition sponsored by Motown Records. She was signed to Motown and released several singles, including "My Smile Is Just a Frown (Turned Upside Down)," which was written and produced by Smokey Robinson. Despite her initial success, Crawford left Motown and continued her career with other labels like Philadelphia International Records.
