Over the course of his career, which spans several decades, Serries has cultivated a reputation for creating deeply atmospheric and introspective soundscapes. He initially gained recognition under the moniker Vidna Obmana, a project through which he released numerous albums from the mid-1980s until 2007, exploring the realms of ambient and industrial music.
