Kik Tracee

90s American Glam Metal Band

Kik Tracee was a glam metal band that emerged from the Los Angeles music scene in the early 1990s. The group was formed in 1988 and consisted of members Stephen Shareaux (vocals), Michael Marquis (guitar), Gregory Hex (guitar), Rob Grad (bass), and Johnny Douglas (drums). They were signed to RCA/BMG Records and released their debut album, "No Rules," in 1991, which featured a blend of hard rock and glam metal, typical of the era. Despite a music video for their single "Don't Need Rules" and touring with bands like L.A. Guns, Kik Tracee did not achieve the level of commercial success enjoyed by some of their contemporaries. The band released an EP titled "Field Trip" in 1992 before disbanding in 1993 as the grunge movement began to dominate the rock scene, leading to a decline in popularity for many glam metal acts.
