Third album finally re-released Alphaville fans take note: The German pop icons will release two expanded and remastered deluxe reissues of their albums "Afternoons In Utopia" and "The Breathtaking Blue" in 2021. Overseen by founding members Marian Gold and Bernhard Lloyd, these two works are being remastered for the first time. "The Breathtaking Blue" is Alphaville's third studio album. It was originally released in 1989 and reached number 49 in the German charts. "The Breathtaking Blue" is released as a complete LP and DVD with the remastered original album on 180g vinyl, including a 24-page booklet with many rare photos in a gatefold sleeve and a DVD of the film "The Breathtaking Blue - Songlines". The double CD including DVD includes the remastered album on CD 1, 16 remastered and remixed B-sides, 12ʺmixes, remixes of tracks from the album on CD 2 and the DVD film "The Breathtaking Blue - Songlines", which has been newly digitized in high quality and has not been released outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This version is accompanied by a 20-page booklet. PS: Here you can find the re-release of "Afternoons In Utopia".
