The charming Spanish singer Alvaro Soler releases the album Mar De Colores, which is out on September 7, translated as "sea of colours" and expresses Alvaro's love for the sea, which he says he can't live without. The musical content also corresponds to the title, as it ranges from Spanish pop folk to hip hop and includes elements of traditional music from the developing world and orchestral sound. The lyrics tell intimate stories with humour and charm about life in all sorts of places around the world, from Tokyo to Berlin to my home city of Barcelona. "I grew up in Barcelona, and despite spending part of my childhood in Tokyo, it is my home. Thanks to my travels, I speak six languages and have friends everywhere. But the sun, the sea and the Spanish approach to life - that's where I'm at home. I want people to know who Alvaro Soler is. That he's not perfect like his instagram account. I want people to take a breath, enjoy life and show their weaknesses when necessary," Alvaro explains the album.Alvaro Soler has racked up 800 million views and 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube in his career and over 350 million streams on Spotify. His biggest hit Sofia has reached the global Top100 chart on Spotify, has charted in the top five in 30 countries and has become the most played radio hit in the Czech Republic. Alvaro has been certified gold, platinum and diamond 27 times and has been nominated three times for Latin Grammys, among others. A similar fate befell the flagship single La Cintura from the album Mar de Colores, which is currently the most played single on Czech radio.
