After three years of calm before the storm, the cult award-winning Anastacia releases the single Caught In The Middle, the first single from her new album Evolution. It will once again storm the top of the global pop charts.

In contrast to the success that the daughter of singer and Broadway actress Anastacia has enjoyed in the field of music, her life story has taken the trajectory of the craziest rollercoaster. It is Evolution, the most intimate work of the singer's career, that deals with all the twists and turns, the steep ascents and descents, or the head-down ride accompanied by screaming. "I've always been a fighter and I've never given up. I learned to think positively about even the most negative things. This album describes where and who I am now. Nothing can just bring me down."

Evolution is full of energy that radiates from rock songs, catchy pop songs and emotional ballads, and last but not least, Anastacia's earthy soul voice. "When I compose songs, I immerse myself in my own world and forget everything around me. I put on my headphones and the only thing that exists for me is music. I used to go and sit in deserted cafes where I would sit for hours, detached from reality."

Evolution tells of personal tragedies, the finality of love and love relationships, and fading faith in humanity, but it also overflows with motivational lessons and a newly charged affection for the world and trust in love. The icing on the cake is a sprinkling of hyperbole and black humour.

The star created at the beginning of the millennium with the inherent tinted glasses collaborated on the new album with Swedish producer Anders Bagge, who has worked with legends such as Madonna and Céline Dion. Interestingly, Anders adamantly refuses to fly by plane, so Anastacia had to commute to see him regularly during her sold-out tour.
