They are a united family - you can hear and feel it! Together with his wife and five children, Angelo Kelly has made an outstanding name for himself as one of the most successful bands of his genre. The album "Irish Heart", released in May 2018, reached #2 on the LPch songs chart and subsequently stayed there for a total of 33 weeks. The album was awarded a gold record, and the band also won the "Golden Hen", the most popular audience award in the field of "music" in 2019. And as for the live concerts of the formation, the halls are getting bigger every year. This year, for the first time, Angelo will be performing in many arenas where he has already performed with The Kelly Family - but today for the first time ever as Angelo Kelly & Family! After three intense and hugely successful years with the Kelly Family, Angelo has returned home to his own family. Almost exactly two years after the release of the Top 2 album "Irish Heart", Angelo Kelly & Family's brand new studio album "Coming Home" is being released. "Coming Home" is a true family album that shows a clearly grown-up and mature side of the band. As on the previous album, Angelo's children and his wife Kira once again make a significant contribution with their songs, which now impressively demonstrate the immense talent that lies within this family. "The new album actually exudes something very homely," explains Angelo Kelly. "We've always been a family band that didn't constantly look at the computer to see which sample would fit a given song. This is just music that's made like the good old days. Handmade! The focus here is definitely on our songs and their stories." Angelo Kelly & Family, along with renowned studio musicians, will take audiences on a short vacation to the idyllic reaches of the Emerald Isle. An authentic sense of Ireland for the four walls of the home. "The last three years with my siblings have been incredibly beautiful. I will always remember what we have achieved together with fondness," continues Angelo. "On the other hand, my wife and our five children had to do without me for a long time, which wasn't always easy. But now I am fully home again. Today we can concentrate on music again. After the last concert with The Kelly Family, I hugged my wife and children in the dressing room and said: "I'm going home, kids." We can't wait to see what surprises Angelo Kelly and his family have in store for 2020 after this spectacular comeback!
