When Tim Bergling died on April 20, 2018, the music for the new album was ninety percent complete. Tim left behind a rich collection of nearly completed songs, notes, email conversations, and text messages regarding the music he created. The songwriters Tim was working with at the time, with the permission of his family, who didn't want to keep Tim's music locked in a drawer, decided to continue recording. But the main task of finishing the tracks was to fulfill Tim's vision as accurately as possible," Kristoffer Fogelmark explains the recording process.Through the Fruity Loops program, Kristoffer and Albin Nedler were able to find and preserve Tim's exact key strokes. "He had a completely different playing style," Nedler explains. "His fingers would occasionally touch an unusual note, which gave his compositions a unique sound.
