Cheap Thrills, released in 1968, is the second studio album by Big Brother & The Holding Company . The album was recorded in just two weeks and is considered one of the best blues-rock albums of all time. The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over four million copies. The album's most popular song is "Piece of My Heart", which was later covered by Janis Joplin. Other popular songs on the album include "I Need a Man to Love", "Summertime" and "Ball and Chain".
