Legendary label Earache Records has been releasing classic rock releases for several years now. The label simply has a good feel for the subject matter. The super cool band Blackberry Smoke is the best rock band Earache Records has discovered yet.

The band members are real guys from Georgia, USA. They mix classic rock, bluegrass, gospel, arena rock, soul and outlaw country with dizzying ease.
Blackberry Smoke is definitely not in the legion of typical retro bands.

Blackberry Smoke's latest release is called "The Whippoorwill". This record is just great! Just listen to the harmony vocals, the feel in the guitar work, the amazing piano, the laid back ease that these guys exude without compromising energy.

Blackberry Smoke interpret this classic sound with a contemporary freshness. They are definitely "the one"!

The members of Blackberry Smoke are no strangers to hard work. The men play up to 250 shows a year and spend more time on the road than at home. Their unique mix of different musical styles has already earned them a sizeable fan base that continues to grow.

But whether it's the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Black Crowes - Blackberry Smoke doesn't have to hide from any of those three bands or other high-caliber artists."
