Blues and soul at its best and an album that is just plain fun (not just for blues fans)! In 1967 Buddy's first album Blues at its best was released. After a few years, the varnish fell off until he celebrated a triumphant comeback in 1991 with a label change and the release of Damn Right, I've Got The Blues.Now his new album is available and it surprises from the first note to the last. Critics would probably label it "unconceptual", but we'd call it exciting and diverse. He's accompanied by such stars as Carlos Santana and Keith Richards, to name but two musicians. And of course "his" backing band with Danny Kortchmar, Willie Weeks, Steve Jordan, etc... Songs were written by Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Bill Withers, "MG" Steve Crooper, Otis Redding, Eddie Floyd, Bob Dylan, Keb Mo and others.
