Of the four planned sets, Vol. 3 is now out on 6CD and 9 LP. Included are recordings from the 200s, including X (2002), Yeah! (2006) and Songs From The Sparkle Lounge (2008). Bonus CDs include B-sides, two cover versions and "Yeah Live". The vinyl edition includes bonus material on 5 LPs. Def Leppard - Volume Three includes 2002's X, which reached the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 for the sixth consecutive year and features songs like "Now", "Four Letter Word" and "Long Long Way to Go", as well as the first album of Yeah! cover versions from 2006, which features a collection of the band's favorite songs re-recorded in the iconic Leppard sound. Def Leppard's tenth studio album, Songs from the Sparkle Lounge, released in 2008, marked a return to the band's signature sound, reaching the Top 10 on both sides of the Atlantic and featuring the hit single "Nine Lives," co-written by Grammy Award-winning country legend Tim McGraw. Also included are the B-sides, Yeah! Studio Covers and Yeah! Live. These albums were compiled by Joe Elliott for this limited edition release. B-Sides contains a rare compilation of B-sides that have never been released on vinyl. Yeah! Studio Covers contains some covers that have never been released on vinyl, Yeah! Bonus disc with exclusive tracks and a compilation of various cover versions the band recorded during their career. Yeah! Live is a compilation of live recordings of the band's cover versions, featuring tracks from the 2006 album Yeah! as well as previously unreleased live tracks from the last 30 years. The albums were mastered by Ronan McHugh and Joe Elliott at Joe's Garage with assistance from Andy Pearce and edited by Greg Moore. The sets are housed in hardback boxes and also include a hardback book with rare photographs by Ross Halfin and notes by Paul Elliott from Classic Rock magazine. Band members Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen and Phil Collen also contributed to the set.
