The Brit handles general and personal feelings very nicely in his songs - "Afire Love" is a good example. "X" is a beautifully rounded record, and exactly the kind of album that his fans love to hear from Ed Sheeran. Rick Rubin (Eminem, Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Pharrell Williams (Daft Punk, Robin Thicke), Benny Blanco (Rihanna), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys, Jay-Z), Johnny McDaid (Snow Patrol) and Jake Gosling (who already contributed to Ed Sheeran's debut album) have all contributed to the new record. The first single "Sing" feat. Pharrell Williams reached the Top 30 of the charts after only 4 weeks on the radio.
