The Eminem Show is the fourth studio album by American rapper Eminem , released on May 26, 2002 by Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records and Interscope Records. With sales of 7.6 million copies, it became the best-selling album of 2002 in the United States. The Eminem Show was certified 10x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album was produced by Eminem , Dr. Dre, Bass Brothers and Mel-Man. The Eminem Show features guest appearances by D12, Royce da 5'9", Xzibit, Nate Dogg and Obie Trice. The album features the singles "Without Me", "Cleanin' Out My Closet", "Sing for the Moment", "Superman" and "Business". The album The Eminem Show received widespread acclaim from music critics. On Metacritic, the album received a score of 83 out of a possible 100 based on 22 reviews. AllMusic reviewer Stephen Thomas Erlewine praised the album, calling it Eminem's 'most perfect record'. NME's John Mulvey awarded the album nine out of ten, saying it was a 'compelling and clever record'.
