In 2016, the crossover and alternative pioneers look back on their previous successes. With "Album Of The Year" and "King For A Day... Fool for a Lifetime", the band re-releases two of their musical milestones in deluxe editions on a double CD and double LP. "Album Of The Year" is Faith No More's sixth studio album. It was originally released on June 3, 1997, after guitarist and co-founder Jim Martin left the band two years earlier and was replaced by Trey Spruance and Dean Menta. During the recording of "Album Of The Year" they were finally joined by Jon Hudson, who is still part of the band today. The album was recorded with the current line-up. The recording took place for the first time in Billy Gould's own studio. Together with Roli Mosimann he was responsible for the production of the record. "Album Of The Year" reached number seven in the UK album chart and number two in Germany. As part of the deluxe re-release, all tracks of the album have been completely remastered. In addition, a total of eight rarities have been added, including live recordings of album tracks such as "Collision", rarely heard mixes of "Last Cup Of Sorrow" and "Pristina", as well as a cover version of Herb Alpert's classic "This Guy's In Love With You". Faith No More fans take note. The band's legendary sixth album will be re-released in 2016, completely remastered and expanded. Here is the "Album of the Year" (deluxe edition).
