In order to maintain full control and artistic freedom, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes decided to release a ten-track punk-rock-riot boulevard through their own label, International Death Cult, partnered with Kobalt Label Services. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes played their first live show at London's Sang Bleu tattoo studio, where Frank Carter also works as a tattoo artist. The band were introduced to fans and media as part of an exhibition of Carter's work "Modern Ruin". The first shows of the upcoming UK tour sold out in no time, with shows in Germany scheduled for this autumn. The album is a big serving of hate and rage, which spills out at the highest level in all ten tracks and doesn't let the listener breathe a moment's breath.
