"Black Cherry" continues to lean on GOLDFRAPP's typical experimental edge, the breathtaking power of which is no less evident and no less timely this time around. From the desolate beauty of the title track and the immensely sensual, restlessly growling "Deep Honey" to the sonic swirls of "Tiptoe", "Back Cherry" confirms GOLDFRAPP's siren-like ability to transport its listeners into alien realms.
