Album je hudebně o něco měkčí a méně epické, ale přináší do hudby humorný tón, který je ještě výraznější na následujícím albu "Chameleon" (1993). Z "Pink Bubbles Go Ape" pocházejí hitové singly jako "Kids Of The Century" a "Number One".
U příležitosti 30. výročí vychází album v limitované edici Pink & Black Splatter Vinyl Edition.
