James Arthur releases his anticipated third album "YOU", which includes the hits "Naked", "Falling Like The Stars" and "Empty Space". The thirty-one year old Brit shortens the wait for a release date with a brand new single. The multiple BRIT Awards nominee brought two top artists into the studio for "Treehouse": American rap superstar Ty Dolla$ign and British shooting star Shotty Horroh. The result is a survival anthem that is very special. Musically, "Treehouse" convinces with a soulful hip-hop feel, complete with smooth piano loops, vocal samples and old-school beats. The song's message: sometimes it's perfectly okay not to feel good - because what's important is what comes after. In addition to the aforementioned singles from the previous year's release, the fifteen songs on the new album also include new tracks written in collaboration with Travis Barker (Blink 182) and Adam Lazzara of Taking Back Sunday, among others. On "YOU," Arthur is at his most bold and dissolute, with sharp lyrics spoken in the voice of a man with a lot on his mind. "I called the album 'YOU' because it's not autobiographical like 'Back From The Edge' - my third album 'YOU' is not about ME, it's about YOU." The past ten years have been more than remarkable for James. He recently won an award for over a billion streams of his worldwide hit 'Say You Won't Let Go' on Spotify. To date, only eighteen songs have surpassed the one billion mark and James Arthur is one of only ten artists to have done so. This illustrious circle includes Drake, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber among others. In total, the Brit has sold more than 25 million records. His duet "Rewrite The Stars" with Anne-Marie from "The Greatest Showman" has racked up more than 251 million streams, while his 2018 song "Empty Space" now has more than 100 million streams. James Arthur has 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify and his videos have 1.5 billion views on YouTube. His last album "Back From The Edge" went from zero to number one in the UK charts in 2016 and achieved multi-platinum status globally.
