In honor of the blues kings Only in March 2016, Joe Bonamassa presented his new studio album "Blues Of Desperation". Now his fans can look forward to another highlight. "Joe Bonamassa: Live At The Greek Theatre" is the title of the blues-rock icon's new concert recording. In 2015, Joe Bonamassa embarked on the so-called "Three Kings Tour" - a tribute to three great blues kings. B. King, Albert King and Freddie King. On this tour, he stopped at a total of 14 amphitheaters in the US. The tour ended on August 29 at the legendary Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This unforgettable performance of "Joe Bonamassa: Live At The Greek Theatre" is now available on double CD, three LPs, double DVD and Blu-ray. On all nights, including the one in L.A., Bonamassa offered audiences an approximately two-hour show with a total of 22 songs by his idols, including classics like "Hummingbird" and "Riding With The Kings" B. B. King, Freddie King's "Sittin On The Boat Dock" and "See See Baby" and Albert King's "Oh, Pretty Woman" and "I'll Play The Blues For You." Bonamassa, of course, again used several guitars in all of his concerts. The guitarist was accompanied on his tour by an eleven-piece band. The musicians included Kirk Fletcher (guitar), Michael Rhodes (bass), Reese Wynans (piano, Hammond organ), Anton Fig (drums), Lee Thornburg (trumpet, brass arrangements), Paulie Cerra (saxophone) and Nick Lane (trombone). Backing vocals were provided by Mahalia Barnes, Jade MacRae and Juanita Tippins. Joe Bonamassa: Live At The Greek Theatre" is a recording of the grand finale of his "Three Kings Tour" - a great concert tribute to the three kings of the blues.
