The album opens with a successful transcription of Bach's second solo violin sonata and then offers pieces by Gubaidulina and Heta and Britten's fascinating "Nocturne". Raymond Tuttle, in a review of an earlier release, aptly wrote: "Gregoriadou's willingness to seek new ways of expressing and enlivening music recalls musicians such as Vladimir Horowitz, Glenn Gould and Wanda Landowska."
