The series is dedicated to the history of blues music, which was a unique opportunity for Keb' Mo' to gather the highlights of his career to date. Keb' Mo' had only released four albums up to that point, but those four albums had already gained a wide audience among blues fans and contained many defining and compelling songs. To mark the release of Martin Scorsese's documentary series, Scorsese selected 16 of the best tracks for this 2LP, including "Come On In My Kitchen", "Am I Wrong" and "Peace Of Mind".
