A comeback album with many faces Her fans have been waiting for 12 years for this one: in 2018, Loreena McKennitt presents her new studio album "Lost Souls". This is the first studio album with all original material since 2006's "An Ancient Muse". The Canadian musician and songwriter wrote nine new songs for it and recorded them last year from May to October in Hamilton, Canada at Catherine North Studios and Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios near Bath, England. Loreena McKennitt herself produced Lost Souls. The result is an utterly multi-faceted LP with many influences, from Celtic to Oriental. In addition to the CD on CD, "Lost Souls" is also available as a 180g LP and as a deluxe box set with the album on CD and LP, plus a hand-signed art print. Finally: a brand new album by Loreena McKennitt. "Lost Souls" proves that the singer-songwriter has not lost her talent for exceptional and versatile songs.
