- The third studio album in the 80s by the highly successful metal band from 1989 - The album was not available on CD for a long time - It was in the TOP40 in Germany Metal Church formed in Seattle in the early 80s and quickly became a highly acclaimed metal band thanks to their first two classic recordings. On the album "Blessing in Disguise" the band continued the 80's metal formula from their previous albums and incorporated some speed metal elements into their characteristic songwriting. The album opens with epic guitar lines and a glistening performance from Mike Howe, making "Fake Healer" a remarkable track and one of the best songs the band has ever released. Other highlights include the powerful and cathartic "Anthem to the Estranged" and "The Spell That Can't Be Broken". Both bands offer the excellent guitar work that has distinguished Metal Church throughout their careers.
