The duo of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser present their first album "Oracular Spectacular", a mysterious and prophetic collection of hallucination-inducing sounds and hook-filled pop tones. This music, which constantly subverts expectations, has as much to do with chaos theory as it does with fractal geometry. Unlike the first concerts, which were mostly electronically generated, this album is dominated by traditional rock instruments: guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, synthesizer - all recorded live.
