Moby's "Hotel Ambient" in full glory for the first time "Hotel Ambient" was originally a bonus CD that musician and producer Moby added to his seventh studio album "Hotel" released in 2005. As the title suggests, this is a purely ambient recording. Since this ambient album was obviously liked by his fans, Moby repeated this approach for his ninth LP "Wait For Me". In 2015, "Hotel Ambient" became available for the first time as a standalone work. The album contains a total of 14 tracks on two CDs or three 180g LPs. Many of the songs on the album are heard in full length for the first time ever. Due to the lack of space on the soundtrack, most of the songs on the first version had to be shortened. In addition, "Hotel Ambient" now includes three new tracks, "Aerial", "Spaired" and "May 04 Two", which were not included on the original album and were added specifically for the new release. "Hotel Ambient" is more than just a bonus CD and deserves album status. It took a while, but now it is thankfully acknowledged.
