Death metal synthesis of art American death metallers Morbid Angel present their new album in 2017. "Kingdoms Disdained" is the title of the eagerly awaited successor to "Illud divinum insanus", which was six years in the making. The record finally reunites guitarist and band founder Trey Azagthoth and bassist and vocalist Steve Tucker along with drummer Scotty Fuller and Dan Vadim Von. Together they recorded eleven new songs for the album "Kingdoms Disdained" at Man Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida. The album was produced by Morbid Angel and Erik Rutan, who has worked for the band and fellow artists such as Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal and Six Feet Under. The result is, if nothing else, another death metal milestone, a multifaceted and dynamic work of art. In addition to the standard CD, "Kingdoms Disdained" is available in a limited deluxe edition on CD, as an LP and as a box set with six 7" singles, a demo CD and a leather book and single adapter.
