Originally recorded in December 1988 and January 1989 during three sessions with Jack Endino at Seattle's Reciprocal Recording Studios, "Bleach" was released in June 1989 and has remained at the top of Sub Pop's personal best-of list ever since without controversy or surprise. The album was given a boost with NIRVANA's second strong album "Nevermind" , released in 1991. This 20th anniversary edition of the original release was meticulously remastered under the supervision of Jack Endino of Sterling Sound. In addition to the original tracks, this version of "Bleach" includes a previously unreleased live recording from February 9, 1990 at Portland's Pine Street Theatre. It includes the songs "Love Buzz", "About A Girl" and a cover version of "Molly's Lips" by the VASELINES. These songs were also remixed from the original recordings by Jack Endino.
