The Punishment of Luxury is the thirteenth studio album by British new wave band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released on 1 September 2017. The album was produced by the band's long-time collaborator Stuart Price and featured contributions from Neil Tennant of The Pet Shop Boys and former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. The album's title is a reference to Ayn Rand's 1937 novel The Fountainhead.
