Pixies deliver Just last year, the Pixies celebrated the 30th anniversary of the release of their legendary debut album "Surfer Rosa", which became a milestone in indie rock. In 2019, they're showing they can still do it: 'Beneath The Eyrie' is the title of their new seventh studio album, the follow-up to 2016's 'Head Carrier'. Black Francis (guitar, vocals), Paz Lenchantin (bass), David Lovering (drums) and Joey Santiago (guitar) recorded twelve songs for it at Dreamland Recordings studio near Woodstock, New York. Production was handled by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood). With the single "On Graveyard Hill", the Pixies have already released a preview of "Beneath The Eyrie". And that gives us reason to expect a lot from the new album. After more than 30 years, there's no fatigue to be seen on Pixies. On the contrary. "Beneath The Eyrie" is an impressive proof of their talent, creativity and personality.
