The album Social Network is the work of three personalities. Michal Horáček wrote the poems in the style of the ballads of Villon, Michal Pavlicek set them to music and Richard Mullerspevácky interpreted them. The inspiration for the album, which was three years in the making, was the powerful phenomenon of the social networking environment, where people come to share with others what they are enjoying or worrying about. Although Richard Muller, Michal Pavlicek and Michal Horáček have been among the most appreciated creators in their respective fields for years, their joint work Social Network is the result of an adventurous search and a deliberate breaking of established rules. And not only for this reason, the individual ballads avoid traditional love motifs and emphasize the different attitudes of social network users towards current topics of public space. Michal Pavlicek, the now legendary guitarist of the even more legendary Pražský Výber (Prague Choice), has developed Horáček's stories into his own distinctive chanson. His compositions are built not only on the sound of guitars and brilliant solos, but also on dynamics and energy. As a performer, Richard Muller honours the Czech language and the musical background of all his compositions, but he mainly adds his unmistakable personality to the songs. This reflects in an unobtrusive but powerful way much of what Richard has actually experienced: uncertainty, joy, much pain, ups and downs. Many guests sing on the album, such as Katarína Knechtová, Bára Basiková,František Segrádo and others.
