Rod Stewart began his career on the British blues scene. Later he became famous around the world as a member of the Faces. With his first single "Little Miss Understood", he also impressed as a solo artist. His soulful, raspy voice made him a convincing interpreter of songs of all colours from the late sixties onwards. He sang the entire rock, blues and soul repertoire and delighted an ever-growing audience with his distinctive musicianship. For his follow-up to his platinum album "It Had To Be You", released in 2003, the now sixty-one-year-old Brit once again chose a remarkable series of American standards. This time, two duets with Cher ("Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered") and Queen Latifah ("As Time Goes By") are also featured. Highest chart position: 2nd place.
