SAMAEL se probudil 14. července 1988, kdy bratři Xytraguptor a Vorphalack naložili své hudební vybavení do jaderného bunkru. Téměř 20 let po tomto dni zažila kapela znovuzrození s vydáním alba "Solar Soul" (2007).

Album, které koprodukoval dlouholetý producent Waldemar Sorychta a mixoval Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Within Temptation...), bylo nyní kompletně remasterováno a vychází s 9 bonusovými skladbami (2 remixy, 6 instrumentálních skladeb, 1x live track).
