Scorpions celebrate 30 years since the release of "Wind of Change", one of the best-selling singles of all time, with an exclusive box set. "Wind of Change: The Iconic Song" is dedicated solely to Klaus Meine's power ballad, which, inspired by the experience of playing at the Moscow Music Peace Festival in 1989, embodies a sense of hope, a spirit of optimism and the prospect of a better future and became the soundtrack to the end of the Cold War. The stone-look box set includes an 84-page hardcover book with an essay by Edgar Klüsener, former editor-in-chief of Metalhammer magazine and a close confidant of the band. He interviewed Klaus Mein exclusively for this book and writes about the origins and impact of the song. The book contains the first handwritten lyrics of "Wind of Change" by Klaus Meine and many pages of photographic material from the band's photographer Didi Zill and from Klaus Meine's private archive.
