The album "Spunk", originally released as a bootleg, contains demos of the recordings that were to be reworked into the album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols". Hits such as "Anarchy in the UK" and "God Save The Queen", among others, are included in the so-called demo versions. Many myths circulate about the distribution of the album, including that the bootleg was distributed by manager Malcom McLaren, partly because he personally valued the unedited versions more. "Spunk", originally released as a bootleg, contains demos of those recordings whose repertoire was to become the album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" in a reworked form. Hits such as "Anarchy in the UK" and "God Save The Queen", among others, are included in the so-called demo versions. There are several myths surrounding the distribution of the album, including that the bootleg was distributed by manager Malcom McLaren, partly because he personally appreciated the unedited versions more. The album, recorded with the original line-up and with surprisingly good sound quality, is much more than just a period document of punk.
