"The Great Annihilator" was originally released in 1995, the remaster comes from the original recordings. Doug Henderson undertook this task with great dedication and to the satisfaction of Michael Gira, who describes the result as "a revelation with great sonic impact". Anyone who hears the majestic "I am the sun" in its new sound knows the power of the recording.
