Tenacious D's third album "Rize of the Fenix" was released on May 15, 2012. The album was produced by John Spiker and mixed by Andy Wallace. This is the band's first album in six years since 2006's "The Pick of Destiny". The first single from the album, "To Be the Best", was released on March 26, 2012. The album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 42,000 copies in its first week. It also debuted at number one on the Billboard Comedy Albums chart.
