After the great success of the "Time Out" LP in 1959, it was no surprise that Dave Brubeck released another album in 1961 called "Time Further Out". Brubeck arranged the songs on the album by measure, starting with "It's a Raggy Waltz" on 3-4 time and ending with "Blue Shadows in the Street" on 9/4 time. The album "Time Further Out" was generally considered to be on par with the album "Time Out" and reached number 8 on the Billboard chart. Dave Brubeck has become a legend with his work and has always spiced his music with a good dose of humor.
