"The Dead Weather's debut album, 'Horehound,' was released in 2009, marking the emergence of a new supergroup in the rock scene. The band consists of notable musicians including Alison Mosshart (of The Kills) on vocals, Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs) on drums and vocals, Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar and keyboard, and Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes) on bass. 'Horehound' features 11 tracks that showcase the band's raw and gritty sound, blending elements of alternative rock, blues, and garage rock. Standout tracks such as '60 Feet Tall,' 'Hang You From The Heavens,' and 'Treat Me Like Your Mother' display the group's penchant for heavy riffs and dark lyrical themes.
