"Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet" is an iconic jazz album released in 1960 by the legendary trumpeter Miles Davis and his quintet. This album is one of four albums that resulted from two marathon recording sessions in 1956, capturing the first iteration of the Miles Davis Quintet at their peak. The ensemble features a stellar lineup of musicians, including John Coltrane on tenor saxophone, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Philly Joe Jones on drums.
