Recorded in 1962 under the direction of Norman Granz with Ray Brown (bass) and Ed Thigpen (drums), the album is considered one of Oscar Peterson's absolute masterpieces and is one of the best-selling Verve albums of all time. Universal Music has long called it Back To Black, and famous pop and rock albums have been remastered on vinyl under this banner. From now on, the Back To Black series will also rock, as for the first time, famous jazz albums will be reissued in their well-known premium presentation: To achieve the best possible sound quality, all albums have been remastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, pressed on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl and include a download voucher.
