In Europe alone, both albums boasted six-figure sales figures. The third album "The Scarecrow" featured contributions from a number of well-known singers and musicians including ALICE COOPER, JORN LANDE (ex-Masterplan), RUDOLPH SCHENKER (Scorpions) and ERIC SINGER (Kiss) and has been eagerly anticipated since the release and success of the single "Lost In Space" in the singles charts. Founder, songwriter and bandleader Tobias Sammet will appear on six covers this winter, and another sensation will follow in the summer of 2008 when Avantasia will play an exclusive live show for the first time with some studio guests as headliner at Wacken Open Air.
