On their ninth studio album, What The Dead Men Say [Roadrunner Records], the Grammy-nominated Florida quartet - Matt Heafy [vocals, guitar], Corey Beaulieu [guitar], Paolo Gregoletto [bass] and Alex Bent [drums] - soar to an inimitable fusion of masterful melody, hypnotic hooks, punctuated thrash, metal bandwidth and cinematic extremity. "'What The Dead Men Say' embodies everything Trivium stands for," says vocalist Matt Heafy. "You can hear all the right ingredients from Trivium's past, present and future on this album. The Trivium sound encompasses everything the band does - on one album." The first single from the new album, "Catastrophist," announced not only a new album, but also a new era. The track was already selected as the "Song of the Match Days" in League Of Legends on the weekend of February 29. The ninth studio album from the Orlando, Florida-based metal band follows 2017's "The Sin and the Sentence," which reached #12 on the German charts. The song "Betrayer" was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Metal Performance" category.
