"U2: Best Of 1990 - 2000", the second installment of U2's "Best Of" albums, will cover the period from 1990 to 2000 and the 16 tracks on this volume are highlights from "Achtung Baby", "Zooropa", "Passengers: Original Soundtracks 1", "Pop" and "All That You Can't Leave Behind". Two brand new songs were recorded especially for this album: "Electrical Storm", which will also be released as a single, and "The Hands That Built America", which will appear on the soundtrack of Martin Scorsese's film "The Gangs Of New York". In addition, four songs - "Discothèque", "Gone", "Numb" and "Staring At The Sun" - have been reworked from the ground up by producer Mike Hedges.
